I started Zumba in January 2011. I decided to make a change when I had been to the doctor and they told me that I weighed 214 pounds. I was so devastated and at that point I decided to do something about my weight. I began eating right and started taking Zumba. As of today, I have lost a total of 61 pounds and now at the weight of 153 pounds I feel great! My goal was to way 150 so I am on my way.

I have been doing Zumba with Jess for about a year now. When I began Zumba I weighed 135 pounds and wore a size 8. I now weigh 110 pounds and wear a size 2. I never dreamed dancing would shed the pounds and inches like it did. And the amazing thing is that I use to go 3-4 times a week and now only go 1-2 times and have kept the weight off! Zumba has been a life changing experience for me. I have never enjoyed a work out so much. I was quite hesitant about trying Zumba when I would see the commercials on TV but once I tried the class I was hooked day one. The classes are so much more fun than dancing in front of a television. My favorite part is that all my friends love it so I don't have to go alone!

I've tried many workouts at home, going to the gym, and walking. Never stuck to any one particular thing UNTIL I started Zumba in April 2011. My coworkers begged me to try it with them. I put off going forever. Then I finally decided to give it a try and I haven't stopped! Its fun and it feels like dancing. Don't get me wrong, Jess works us from head to toe! And I sweat in places that I didn't know could sweat! When I started doing Zumba with UPF in april 2011 I was 218 pounds in a size 18. A year later, I'm 184 pounds and in a size 14. You will get results!!! I did!

I decided to do something about weight after watching a home video of myself and not recognizing myself. I have been doing Zumba with Jess for about 3yrs now. And I absolutely LOVE it. What better way to melt the pounds off..... I weighed 269lbs and have lost 50lbs. I haven't reached my goal weight yet but have no doubt that I can't reach it with the help of Jess and her team. I feel absolutely FABULOUS!!!! I can now have fun with my kids like play jump rope and ride the bicycle.... These are things that I couldn't do before losing the weight and to say that I have added years to my life. It is a challenge everyday and a lifestyle change but worth every effort!

I started Zumba with Jess back on February 2011. It has been fun dancing my pounds away. I never knew there was a workout that was fun and would help me lost weight at the same time. Doing Zumba has motivated me to eat healthier also. I'm thinking if I'm exercising then I should eat right also. I was 188lbs before I started Zumba so now I'm 148lbs. Zumba has made a big impact in my life!

I Started Zumba roughly 2 years ago. At the time I was a size 18 and weighing in at 193 attempting Weight Watchers and doing Zumba once a week or every two weeks. I had some results but I wasn’t dedicating myself like I should. In the spring of this year I started a Christian base weight loss program called First Place at my church, Cudd Memorial Baptist Church. While doing this and starting back Zumba I have gotten down to a size 8 pants and weigh 152. What an amazing journey this has been! It is very hard to maintain where I am and loose the last 5-10 lbs. But after dedicating 2-3 nights a week to Zumba and continuing to eat healthy It has been so much easier to get the weight off faster! I have heard you will get more results if you enjoy the style of exercise you are doing! That is so true! Zumba is a blast, and you are burning calories at the same time! I encourage everyone to never give up! We all have our bad days but always remember tomorrow is a new day and a new start.

The idea of Zumba was always thought to be a girly and a very easy workout for seniors. But I was terribly WRONG. It all started by a simple dare from my mom daring me to try one Zumba class, and I accepted ! Since then I have had a whole new look at life JESS the instructor at Zumba is an amazing dancer and trainer her dance moves are very fun and they actually work on the different parts of the body to get the best possible work out ! Jess and her team are very good at what they do and since I have been going to Zumba I have gained muscle and new dance moves the music that Jess chooses is very up to date and reasonable for all ages. In December I did a way in and My weight was 255 lbs on may the 1st my weight was 190 lbs which is a total of 65 lbs so I thank Jess and her team for the confidence and the love and support I feel amazing and I will continue to go to Zumba as long as jess teaches the class and cheeseburgers exists.

I truly love Zumba...it is part of my life now even though I can only attend once a week now. I would love to increase my attendance. When you said make it a part of your routine...I did. Its like my body goes into withdrawals without it. When I was pregnant with Gabrielle I weighed over 200lbs. After birth down to 180lbs...now I am 149lbs and counting. I am not sure about the inches but when I go into my closet now it is like I am at a boutique. I am wearing cloths I haven't wore in years. I love the various class locations...it gives me options. But you really encouraged me to push hard....love, love, love, your classes!
